I grew up as a missionary kid, living in many diverse parts of the world. I was fortunate to have parents who traveled and shared the love of Jesus wherever they went. Throughout my education, I attended various schools—some good and some less so. These experiences, both positive and challenging, inspired me to make a meaningful difference in education. Although I never imagined I would work in this field, I have been blessed to follow God’s calling and pursue this path.
During my freshman year of college, I took a year off to serve as a student missionary, working on the islands of Micronesia. I used this time to reflect on my future, and God’s plan soon became clear. While on Guam, I met my wonderful wife, Merrie. Two years later, we married and returned to Guam for an additional four years, where we enjoyed the island life and loved diving and snorkeling.
From a young age, I was fascinated by tools and technology. My curiosity often led me to dismantle things to understand how they worked. Over the years, I have been blessed to work in facilities management and IT, continually learning and growing in these fields.
Now, as a parent of two beautiful girls, it is a privilege to work at CCA and witness their growth every day. I am grateful for the opportunity to work with such amazing kids and colleagues.
