I was born and raised in the Walla Walla Valley of Southeastern Washington. I am a product of Seventh-day Adventist Christian education, graduating from Walla Walla Valley Academy (2000) and Walla Walla College (2005).
My wife Jannetta and I were married in 2005 and have four wonderful children. Since graduating from college my wife and I have witnessed for Christ through elementary education in the communities of Goldendale and Brewster, Washington and Missoula and Libby, Montana. Along the way I furthered my education with a MAT degree from Walla Walla University (2011) with an emphasis in Educational Leadership. From 2015 to 2017 I accepted God’s calling to serve as Missionary principal at our Adventist school on the island of Kosrae in Micronesia. In 2018 I accepted the invitation to become part of the welcoming and friendly environment of CCA as the 6th grade home room teacher.
I have a passion for sharing Jesus Christ with young people and helping them develop a personal relationship with their Savior. Exploring God’s creation through hiking, climbing, camping, skiing, fly fishing, and mountaineering is something I look forward to when not in the classroom. I highly anticipate Christ’s soon return and will continue to teach and serve the young people of our community through Seventh-day Adventist Education, Pathfinders, and youth ministry until He comes.
